The Kittens

This last summer Carrie decided she had to have a kitten. When we got to the pound to find the kitten two of them were buddies and we couldn't break them up. Their original names were to be coal and slate based on their names, but their personalities (based on their reactions to Mickey the Cocker) resulted in their being named Hissy (the grey one) and Phytt (the black one). As you can see in these photos the relationship with Mickey has warmed considerably so that on occasion one can even find them curled up together.
